History:
Admittedly, there are more spectacular vehicles than an ML 320, even if its condition with just 120,400 km is well worth seeing. What should also make this vehicle interesting for collectors is its history: None other than Bernhard-Viktor Christoph-Carl - Vicco for short - von Bülow was the first certificated vehicle owner of this ML. Under his stage name "Loriot," the German humor great created unforgettable works such as "Oedipussi" and "Pappa ante portas" and became an icon of German television.
On July 31, 1998, Loriot bought the car from his regular dealer on Lake Starnberg. The humorist chose an emerald black metallic paint job and gray leather for his 218-hp ML. Also on board were electrically adjustable seats with heated seats, an electric glass sunroof and burl wood applications. The vehicle accompanied him for over eleven years until he gave up driving in 2009 - at the age of 85 - and died two years later.
